Fire-stopping regulations have undergone several changes, particularly after the Grenfell Tower disaster. In addition to the abovementioned regulations, you must follow the requirements in the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (including the amendments made through the Fire Safety Act 2021). You can learn more about this and other related fire safety regulations, such as the Building Safety Act, in our “Grenfell: 5 Years On” guide.
