We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team at Longley. In this role, you will be responsible for managing project costs and ensuring financial efficiency throughout all stages of construction projects. You will prepare cost estimates, manage budgets, assess variations, and support procurement activities while ensuring value for money and commercial compliance.
You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to monitor project performance, prepare valuations, and assist in the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry, strong commercial awareness, and excellent analytical and negotiation skills. A good understanding of construction contracts, cost management, and procurement processes is essential, along with relevant qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
