We are proud to announce that Longley has been successfully appointed to the London Construction Programme’s (LCP) Major Works Education Framework. This prestigious framework, established for five years, represents a significant opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality educational facilities across London and the Home Counties.
The London Construction Programme (LCP) was established in 2012 by Haringey Council to develop a pan-London strategy aimed at improving construction procurement. Today, the LCP has a robust membership of 60 public sector organisations across London and the Home Counties, offering a collaborative approach to efficient, transparent, and value-driven construction services.
The LCP operates as a ‘virtual organisation’, currently hosted and managed within Haringey Council. Its mission is to deliver smarter procurement solutions that align with best practice, while supporting the delivery of essential public sector infrastructure.
Longley’s appointment to this framework is a key milestone in our journey and reflects our long-standing commitment to quality, collaboration, and community-focused construction. We are excited to work closely with Haringey Council and other public sector partners to deliver projects that enhance educational environments and positively impact future generations.
As part of our involvement, we are aligned with the LCP’s strong social value objectives. LCP actively collaborates with organisations such as Serious About Youth (SAY) to support youth engagement and development, and Mates in Mind, a leading mental health charity promoting wellbeing in the construction industry. These partnerships reflect their wider commitment to creating positive, lasting social impact through every project undertaken.
This marks an exciting new chapter for Longley, and we look forward to contributing our expertise, innovation, and integrity to the success of the LCP’s Major Works Education Framework over the next five years.
