17/09/2025 We’re delighted to announce that Longley has been awarded the contract to deliver the new Pavilion at Sevenoaks Football Club. This project is a major milestone for the local football community and the wider Sevenoaks public, bringing forward a modern, inclusive, and sustainable facility.
Longley will be responsible for delivering the Pavilion’s structure, roof, and mechanical & electrical (M&E) installations, ensuring that the building is constructed to the highest standards of quality and energy efficiency.
In addition to creating a new community hub, the Pavilion will showcase cutting-edge sustainable design. More than £130,000 of Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) funding has been allocated to incorporate green features, including:
Council Leader Claire Shea commented that the aim is to “lead the way on sustainable design,” while council representatives confirmed these features will significantly reduce the Pavilion’s environmental impact.
This project has been made possible through nearly £2 million in total funding, with over £750,000 awarded by the Football Foundation, supported by the FA and the Premier League. Combined with council funding and community contributions, this investment ensures the Pavilion will serve as a long-lasting asset for Sevenoaks.
Paul Lansdale, Chairman of Sevenoaks Town Football Club, expressed his excitement:
“Years of hard work has paid off with the news of this funding for the building of our long-awaited clubhouse. The Football Foundation has agreed to provide a significantly larger figure than we expected. It is very exciting news and means we can now focus on a start date to begin the work before the end of the year.”
For Longley, this is more than just construction — it’s about creating a lasting legacy. By delivering the Pavilion’s structure, roof, and M&E, we are laying the foundation for a facility that will serve the local community for decades to come.
We are proud to play a key role in bringing this vision to life and look forward to getting underway. Stay tuned for further updates as we begin work later this year.
