10/02/2026 We are pleased to announce our appointment on a new fire protection project at Kings Cross for an established student accommodation provider client.
As with all student accommodation projects of this nature, works will be delivered within a live student accommodation environment, requiring careful planning, close coordination, and a strong focus on safety and programme control. Our team has extensive experience working within occupied buildings, ensuring minimal disruption to residents while maintaining the highest standards of fire protection compliance.
The project will be delivered across two distinct and consecutive stages, beginning with a Sprinkler Pre-Construction Services Agreement (PCSA). This initial phase covers the planning and design of the sprinkler system, allowing early collaboration with the wider project team to develop a fully coordinated and compliant solution ahead of construction.
Following the successful completion of the PCSA and sign-off from the Building Safety Regulator (BSR), the project will move into the Sprinkler System Installation phase, where our team will deliver the full physical installation on site. This structured approach ensures a smooth transition from design to build, reducing risk and supporting programme certainty, while demonstrating our in-house BSR capability.
The Kings Cross project will encompass approximately 400 student apartments, making it a significant scheme within an operational residential setting. We are delighted to be working with this client once again and look forward to delivering another successful project that prioritises resident safety and long-term performance.
