A significant project was undertaken to reconfigure 52 student apartments within a 15-storey block, enhancing both functionality and livability for residents. The project included the installation of new kitchens in all apartments, providing modern amenities to improve the student living experience.

Health and safety were paramount throughout the project, especially as the work was conducted in a live occupied building. A comprehensive risk assessment was performed, and stringent safety protocols were implemented to ensure the well-being of both workers and residents.

Collaboration with the building managers was crucial in organising logistics, including scheduling work to minimise disruption and coordinating access to various floors. This strategic planning allowed for efficient material delivery and minimised inconvenience to students.

Throughout the project, effective communication between contractors, building management, and residents was maintained, ensuring transparency and addressing any concerns promptly. Despite the complexities of the environment, the project was delivered on time and within budget.

The successful reconfiguration of the apartments has not only enhanced the living conditions for students but also contributed to a more vibrant and functional community within the building, fostering a sense of pride and comfort among residents.
